About equigy

Equigy is a non-profit TSO subsidiary that plays a key role in the acceleration of the energy transition and the integration of the energy system. With the European crowd balancing platform, Equigy creates a trusted data exchange to enable aggregators to participate with smaller flexibility devices, such as home batteries and electric vehicles, in electricity balancing markets, turning consumers into prosumers. Owned by leading European transmission system operators, Equigy aims to set cross-industry standards throughout Europe, to support a future-proof, reliable and cost-effective power system that is independent of fossil fuel-based flexibility sources.

Governance

Our governance structure is designed to be a working structure for principled actions, effective decision-making, and appropriate monitoring of compliance and performance.

Governance model
We have a two-tier board structure, consisting of a Supervisory Board and a Management Board. The Supervisory Board guides and monitors the Management Board and the Management Board develops and implements the business strategy, in close cooperation with the Supervisory Board. Both boards are appointed by the Shareholders Meeting.
